HAMMOCK HEALTH

Hammock Health is a psychiatry clinic founded on a simple but powerful idea: moments of stillness in nature can help us reconnect with ourselves. The founders’ story centered on spending time outdoors—watching sunsets, slowing down, and finding clarity—and they wanted their brand to reflect that sense of calm and perspective. The goal of the identity was to move away from the sterile, clinical feeling often associated with mental health services. Instead, we created a visual language rooted in warmth, nature, and quiet optimism.

The Approach

The brand draws heavily from natural metaphors. A sunset became a central visual reference—representing reflection, transition, and the idea that every day offers a new beginning. Soft gradients, warm tones, and simple shapes were used to evoke the feeling of dusk settling over a landscape.

 

Typography and layout were designed to feel calm and approachable. The system favors open space, gentle color transitions, and a restrained palette inspired by evening skies and natural horizon.

The Outcome

The resulting identity positions Hammock Health as a place of restoration rather than treatment alone. The brand communicates calm, trust, and the possibility of renewal—helping patients feel more comfortable taking the first step toward care.

 

By grounding the visual identity in the founders’ story, the brand reflects the clinic’s core belief: meaningful healing often begins with a moment of pause.
